Midlife Passage offers group and individual Rite of Passage programs designed specifically for men at midlife aged 35 to 55. The programs are run out of Melbourne.
Mens Wellbeing Inc
Mens Wellbeing offer a mixture of facilitated groups, workshops and camps for men run by men to help other men understand what it means to be a man in the in the 21st century. Offerings include Rites of Passage programs.
Centre for Men and Families Australia
Mens Rights of Passage (MROP) is a unique five-day/four night profound experience that builds on the classic patterns of male initiation through simple and moving rituals and teaching. Each day includes group prayer, major teachings on central masculine spirituality themes, quiet time for reflection and sharing in the context of a small group.
The New Warrior Training Adventure is a modern male initiation and self-examination. Programs typically run from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon and follows the “hero’s journey” of classical literature and myth.
KI Manhood and Initiation Weekend
The KI Manhood and Initiation weekend is run twice a year from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening on Kangaroo Island. The camp is an initiation to manhood for teenage boys and adult men from all backgrounds and experience. It is suitable for fathers with teenage sons, fathers and men without sons and sons without fathers.
The weekends are run not-for-profit and the facilitators volunteer their time.
The Walking Man Yatra
A Dharma Pilgrimage for Men. A yatra is a largely silent walk which offers an opportunity to explore and experience a variety of teachings for personal development in the company of like-minded people while travelling together through the outer as well as inner landscapes of our natural world.
An eleven-day vision fast involving four days of preparation, four days and nights of fasting alone in a wilderness place, and three days of incorporation.
