Teen Rites are aware of the following residential camps being run in Australia. Listings provided here are for information only and you should contact the organisers to determine if a particular camp is suitable for you.

Pathways to Womenhood

The Pathways foundation run contemporary, community based Rites of Passage for girls into Womanhood, which takes the form of a 5 day residential program for girls aged 12-15 years and their mothers or a woman mentor. Fathers are involved on the leaving day and in the family celebration on the last day. Programs are held at:

  • Kangaroo Valley, approximately 160 km SW of Sydney
  • Mt. Byron, approximately 110 km NW of Brisbane
  • Lal Lal near Ballarat, approximately 115 km from Melbourne
  • Various locations within 2 hours drive of Perth

Dad & Daughter Adventures

A 4 night dad & daughter relationship building adventure (ages 13 to 70) incorporating professionally-guided outdoor adventures mixed with a Blessing & Releasing experience. Held on Magnetic Island, near Townsville.

Outward Bound Programs

The Family program aims to strengthen important family ties by providing a get-away for a child and one parent or mentor.The 7 day program encourages participants to support one another and connect through dialogue, personal reflection, working together and creating fantastic life-long memories.

The Navigator program is a 12 day personal development experience for teenagers helping participants discover and develop their potential.
